Pritha Chakraborty
Co-founder & CEO
Pritha Chakraborty is a Kolkata-based filmmaker renowned for her work as a director and editor in both commercial and non-commercial projects. Her debut documentary, Silent Voices, has gained significant acclaim, premiering at prestigious festivals such as HotDocs Canadian International Documentary Film Festival and Sheffield Docs (UK). Silent Voices also earned the IDPA Award in 2017 and has been showcased at several other notable festivals, including IIFLA (Los Angeles), SAIFF (New York), and MIFF (Mumbai).
In addition to her success in documentaries, Pritha ventured into feature films with her debut film, Mukherjee Dar Bou, released by Windows Production on International Women’s Day 2019. The film received widespread acclaim from both audiences and critics, leading to its continued success in theaters. For this film, Pritha was honored with the Tele Cine Best Debutant Director Award in 2019 and the Critics Choice Award for Gender Sensitivity by CCFC in the same year.
Pritha has actively participated in global workshops and seminars, including the prestigious Unleash lab in China, where she represented gender equality as one of 20 storytellers worldwide. Her expertise and contributions have also earned her a place on the jury panel for the IDA International Documentary Awards in 2020.
Sujay Santra
Founder & Advisor
Sujay Santra brings over 12 years of experience from IBM and Oracle to his role as the founder of iKure, which he established in 2010 with a mission to achieve zero mortality in primary healthcare. Under his leadership, iKure has positively impacted 12 million people across 8 states in India and has expanded its technology solutions to MENA countries, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Southeast Asia. iKure is now recognized globally as a leading sustainable model for primary healthcare.
In recognition of his contributions to social innovation, Sujay received the Ashoka Fellowship from the President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, in 2016 and was honored with the ‘100 Most Impactful Healthcare Leader Award’ by the World Health & Wellness Congress in 2018. He has shared his journey as a social entrepreneur on global platforms such as the World Economic Forum, United Nations, and MIT, among others. Sujay holds an MCA degree from the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) and completed an Executive Programme in General Management (EPGM) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
